Sistine rugs by Armadillo among 12 new products on Dezeen Showroom
Dezeen Showroom: a collection of handmade rugs made from silk and virgin wool are among 12 new products featured on Dezeen Showroom.
Sistine rug collection by Armadillo
Australian brand Armadillo has launched a new rug collection called Sistine comprising rugs in three neutral shades.
They come in three sizes and all share a flecked finish due to being hand-knotted from a blend of wool and silk.
Sistine was recently featured on Dezeen Showroom, alongside a large collection of terracotta tiles intended to be mixed and matched and a kitchen island designed for its contents to be visible at all times.

Parquet Bisque tiles by New Terracotta
New Terracotta designed its Parquet Bisque tile collection to include 44 different shapes, sizes and colours of tile.
The Portuguese brand created the range with the aim of using multiple tile shapes and colours in conjunction with one another to create unique and playful patterns.

Daylight kitchen island by Space Theory
Kitchen manufacturer Space Theory has released Daylight, a fully customisable kitchen island designed to allow its contents to be seen.
Users can choose the island's length as well as optional extras including appliances, drawers, specialised storage solutions and power outlets.

Sou sofa by Teruhiro Yanagihara for Offecct
Japanese designer Teruhiro Yanagihara designed the Sou sofa for Flokk-owned brand Offecct, which references jigsaw puzzles and French mille-feuille pastry.
The pared-back sofa consists of a separate seat, backrest and frame that can be combined in different configurations for various uses.
Harri writing desk by Peter Fehrentz for More
German brand More collaborated with designer Peter Fehrentz to create Harri, a desk that allows creatives to immerse themselves in their practice.
The designers intended the piece to be placed centrally in a room rather than being confined to a corner or against a wall like traditional desk placements.
Universal Accessories bathroom collection by Axor
Axor's Universal Accessories collection was designed to be "functional and expressive in equal measure".
The German bathroom brand created the collection, which includes towel rails, mirrors, shelves and hooks, taking cues from the geometric forms of Axor's existing bathroom ranges.

Bell lamp by Seiki Ishii for Seiki Design Studio
The Bell lamp was designed by Japanese designer Seiki Ishii for Kyoto-based design firm Seiki Design Studio to be fully portable and adaptable.
Made from recycled glass, the lamp is made up of a bell-shaped shade with a blue loop attached, allowing it to be hung on a wall hook or mounted onto a tabletop or floor stand.
BS47x combi-steam oven 400 series by Gaggenau
Kitchen brand Gaggenau has expanded its range of ovens to include the BS47x combi-steam oven 400 series, which features accurate temperature controls, chef assistance and self-cleaning capabilities.
It has a myriad of advanced features including that it circulates steam as opposed to hot air, meaning food retains its colour and nutrients more effectively than traditional ovens, according to the brand.

Global Expressions panels by Gensler and 3form
Design brand 3form and US architecture studio Gensler have created Global Expressions, a series of semi-transparent room dividers that take cues from traditional textiles.
Panels can be made from etched glass or 3form's signature Varia resin and decorated with a range of motifs.

Sarn lamps by Thinkk Studio for Thingg Store
Designed by Thinkk Studio for Thingg Store and handmade by craftspeople in Thailand, Sarn is named after the Thai word for weaving.
The lampshades are made from woven palm leaves and come in four different colours in either conical or bell-shaped.
Culinary warming drawer 400 series by Gaggenau
German kitchen appliance manufacturer Gaggenau has designed a warming drawer with a wide range of functionalities.
The culinary warming drawer 400 series works across a span of temperatures from 30 to 80 degrees Celsius and can proof dough, defrost food and slow cook as well as heat plates, according to the brand.
