Mr and Mrs Blackwell, aka Adam and Millie Blackwell, have grand ideas for their little Wairarapa village, Greytown. He owns Blackwell & Sons, an old-fashioned bicycle shop and she runs Mrs Blackwells Village Bookshop, the town’s go-to for great reading. In celebration of warmer weather, the Blackwells have pulled together a premium picnic basket with goodies from their two charming village stores.
Blackwell & Sons is not only the home of beautiful handmade bicycles — it also celebrates good living. The Charleston Basket, valued at $995.90, is their top-of-the range wicker picnic basket with leather accents, and a poplin-patchwork quilt blanket securely fastened to the basket’s lid with extra-long exterior straps.
