February Rewind & Top Sellers

Good morning friends! What a week it has already been!  Actually the last month has been a whirlwind!  February was Valentine’s Day, followed four days later by Jordan’s birthday, then my own birthday two days after that!  Then, we celebrated James’ birthday yesterday!  It’s a lot crammed into just a few weeks!  And at this age, things are double or triple with classroom parties, home parties and then actual birthday day celebration.  I’m pooped!

Thankfully, this is also our last weekend where two sports overlap.  We’ve been going hard with basketball and baseball and basketball ends Saturday.  I’m definitely looking forward to the weekend!

I love to recap the month in one tidy post for you since I know many of you can’t read everyday.  This is the best place to get caught up on everything and I also round up the best sellers from Amazon and beyond.  I love seeing what YOU love and we are often on the same page!

Every other Friday, I do an Amazon haul for you and they are a labor of love!  These posts were the most popular on my blog in 2019 and so far, they’ve continued to be your favorites into 2020.

At first, I was getting so many MISSES and OH, HELL NOS, but over the last year, I’ve gotten more familiar with the brands and how to search and have many more HITS now.  Every month when I go online to order I think, I wonder if I’ll find anything good this time, and then I’m always happily surprised!

I was really excited about this Amazon post! It has some darling sweaters, a dupe Miller sandal for under $25, the pull on jeans that are surprisingly awesome, some fun rodeo styles, and athletic styles!

Seamless Undies • They are giving my VERY FAVORITE SEAMLESS UNDIES from Nordstrom a run for their money.  I like this style because they don’t give you panty lines, and they also stay put.

Ponte Leggings • These leggings have been a reader fave since I first showed them and continue to be in the top 5. They  fit like a legging/pant with a nice thickness to them and super opaque.  Only $18!

Tank Dress • You’ll definitely want to add this tank dress to your cart!  It’s a wonderful basic that you’ll get so much use out of and can wear all Spring and Summer long.  The tank is a scoop neck style and you won’t have to worry about your bra showing.  Plus, I love that it has pockets. It’ll pack beautifully for vacation and can easily go from beach to lunch.

Lace Sleeve Top • It’s a fun take on your basic black tee with the lace sleeves, but there’s also a little peep hole back! Such a cute way to dress up your jeans.

Paperbag Waist Pants • I think y’all especially liked seeing these pants paired with the tee above.  With heels, it makes for a fun night out look.  The pants are so flattering with the paperbag waist and they are ultra comfortable pull-on style.  I’m venturing into new colors now.  Fit TTS, I wear XS and they are to my ankle, instead of crop length, but I don’t mind.

Daily Ritual Skinny Jeans • These have stayed in the top week after week.   They are a mid-rise jean with a good bit of stretch that fit your body amazingly well without pinching or pulling.  *I wear them all the time, and even to my birthday dinner.

Balloon Sleeve Top •  This blouse comes in tons of colors and prints.  It’s lined in the front so it’s opaque, but the sleeves are more sheer, with a balloon style shape.  It will be versatile for work, church or a night out.

High Waisted Crop Yoga Pants • Oh YES, YES, YES to these crop yoga pants/leggings.  They are incredibly comfortable on with a high waist that isn’t constricting. They have 4-way stretch and a non see-through fabric with a handy side pocket! The seaming is also on point to create the most flattering fit.  No wonder they have over 13,000 positive reviews!  Fit TTS, I wear XS

Clover Necklace • We all went crazy for the clover earrings!  Y’all sold out my original one, but the earrings are still available in a chic black.  The clover necklace is just as good and can be layered for a shorter, double look.

Skinny Belt • I’m not surprised with this one!  They come in a pack of 4 and go with everything!  You can wear them with dresses or in the belt loops of your pants or jeans.

Sun Hat • With sunny skies ahead the sun hat is back!  Looks like the price went up a couple dollars, but it’s still under $20. Mine is still going strong from last year.  It’s adjustable, packable, shields your face from the sun and

My Amazon Storefront has all my favorites and recommendations listed by category.

One jewelry piece that looks great with all of your outfits is the Victoria Emerson wrap bracelets.  I love mixing and matching mine and wear them practically everyday!

Silver Dorado Wrap

So many wrap bracelets to choose from Victoria Emerson always gets it right. I picked up one of her newest collections and just love the silver accents. Check out the blog post for more options to choose from. Be warned they are addicting!

Seamless Undies •  You’ve heard me raving about these forever.  They feel amazing on – almost like you’re wearing nothing – but also stay put without any panty lines! This seamless style is perfect for under leggings or white jeans. I’ve stocked up on several pairs over the years. They are a definite MUST HAVE!  Fit : one size, don’t ask me how, but it works!

Split Neck Raglan Top • Super soft pullover and currently 40% off

Nike Air Pegasus Sneakers • I’ve been running so much more since I got these sneakers.  They are everything you want in a good running shoe with a lightweight mesh upper and major cushion inside.  And I love that my feet don’t get all sweaty in them!

Scalloped Satin Cami • It comes in solids, but the petite floral is so pretty for Spring.  It looks great worn alone, or under a jean jacket or blazer.

Becca One Piece Swimsuit • Yep, that one above!  So good!  Sassiest one piece in town!  You’re guaranteed to look and feel great in it!

Wrap Front Blouse • It feels so soft and silky on and I love the wrap style and slightly puffed sleeves.  It’s got a tiny snap closure so it won’t fall open.

Tank Dress • The perfect date night dress is here – in sexy black or a hot pink! Was $89, now $18.

I kicked off the year by organizing my pantry and holiday storage closet, then in February moved onto my home office closet.  I love how it turned out and how easily accessible everything is now. You can see more of my home organization here.

I’m so excited to share Jordan’s playroom with you!  The room used to function as an office, hence the dark wood panels.  When I decided to turn it into Jordan’s playroom, a makeover was in order. It is still a work in progress but I am liking where we are going with the room and it’s become a great space for Jordan to play and create.

In Houston, February has been our coldest month of winter and we’re all ready for some sunshine and warm weather. I’m also ready to switch out my Valentine’s Day decor for some Spring decor.  I was browsing Amazon and found so many darling things!  And bonus, they’re all on PRIME!

The tulips are such a happy find!  They look and feel real – like a soft rubber as opposed to a fake silk.  The stems have a wire in them that you can bend to shape them how you want them to sit! They have lots of colors to choose from.  A reader sent me a pic of the white ones she got and they are gorgeous!

Lavender Wall Vase

I put the lavender bunches in my hanging wall vases in my office.  There used to be succulents, but I love the pop of purple.

Box of Lavender

The little box of lavender is brightening my kitchen, sitting right by the sink, under the window.

These things make great gifts for your bestie, mom, sister or even you! And you don’t have to limit these to Valentine’s day treats. I mean who doesn’t love a cozy throw or special chocolates?  They Spring varieties are out now!

Phew, that was a long one!  I hope you found it useful! And now I’m EXTRA ready for Friday!  Speaking of, I’ll have a new Amazon haul up with more Spring styles and some really darling swimsuits!  I booked a trip to Puerto Rico with my friend Trisa for Spring Break, so I’ve been eyeing all the warm weather styles!

Have a fantastic day friends!
